America the Beautiful - Hot Springs, Arkansas

Hot Springs, Arkansas is the birthplace of President Bill Clinton but also, a hot mineral springs resort town frequented by celebrities before Las Vegas was developed.
It retains a great deal of its prior beauty, its art deco bathhouses and grand hotels a marvel to see.

The old bath houses are mostly galleries or shops today, with only one or two still in operation as spas.

Take a tour of one of the bathhouses that is now a museum and see the ornate tubs of old, the implements of spa treatments, and the beautiflly detailed architectural elements.

If you go in the spring you;ll see the blooms of the camelia, the flower of the American South.

The Arlington Hotel art deco elevators with the US Mail shoot on the side.
Enjoy!
